  2. Thanks for your visit to my blog! I see y’all are just getting started here–I hope you’ll enjoy God’s abundant blessings in Blogville (I’ve been here since late August last); the neighbors are generally lovely, and keep their yards nice too! God bless you.

  3. Hi, I may have got your actual name mixed up in my replies – if I have, sorry about that.. but the feeling is still the same. There are some fantastic poems here! Thank you.

  4. dfb, I’m so appreciative of your kind words. It’s been a bit overwhelming to discover how many talented people reside in the “blogosphere.” To have one of those very talented artists say such complimentary things is extremely encouraging.

    • Nice! Thanks for letting me know…really enjoy your blog. And you may have to convince me to love Apples also…I have one for work, but just don’t like it as much as my old PC…probably just because I’m too old to appreciate something as hip as imacs, ipads, ilives, etc… 😉

As much as I’d like to nod my head in agreement at that statement I can’t help but giggle..not Apples in a Steve Jobs kinda way..apples as in Apple Juice (especially), the fruit (so awesome..give me a Pink Lady or Braeburn apple any day!) apple crumble..apple pie..*sighs dreamily*
        Strange I know..but I can’t help it..*he he*

  10. I often try to “keep people guessing” but you’ve raised the bar with your “About” page! LOL Thanks for stopping by my blog and for the “Like” on a recent post. I’ve enjoyed browsing your blog posts and look forward to reading more. Blessings!

    • LOL…glad you like this page! I guess it (revealing more “about” me) will happen gradually as I get comments on my “about” section and give my replies!

Thanks for the visit…really enjoy the thoughts you share on your blog and look forward to reading more soon!

  14. In reading the scripture phrases at the right side of your post, it makes me think there is a lot of depth to your spirit that you are not telling us about. Perhaps these treasures and riches stored in secret places, you will reveal later.
    Joy.

    • Joy,

Thank you for your visit and kind comments. I really do need to provide more details about myself in this section…just never think of it until I get a comment in the “about” section, and that never seems to happen when I have the time to fill it out…lol…but it’s fun to “update as I go” through the comments! I hope that my spiritual depth is deeper now than in months and years previous, but every day God reveals to me ways in which I am still very much a work in progress!

  17. After reading a few of your blog entries, I’ve concluded that you really need to have an about page. Your blog is wonderful!

  18. Are you often “About” in your canoe? All the one’s I’ve tried just go round in circles, maybe they have an inherent design fault! (it couldn’t be me could it?)

    Reply
    • I’m not about in a canoe nearly enough! I am fortunate to live in an area with some great rivers & creeks for canoeing though. 🙂 I don’t know how I missed out on responding to this post sooner, but I so appreciate your visit & comment. You’ve got a great blog with some amazing pics and even better writing!

  19. i’ve read your blogs and they are fantistic!! BUT…your about-me page is the most ludicrous thing I have ever seen, and I’ve read ton of blogs from all sorts of people. I generally don’t read other people comments on a given blog, but I am just glued to everybody’s comment on this page, its just so darn funny. Its like a watching a train wreck about to happen. Why you ask? because you are starting to see some angry mob forming here, and I’m going to be part of it…lol.

  20. I’m glad you decided to leave your official ‘about me’ page, as is. Its funny when something takes on life of its own, that your probably never intended..lol

  21. Hi! I’ve nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award!

    Reply
    • I’m onboard for that that. Can you teach us noobs how to nominate someone for this award?

      Reply
      • Not easily found, I’ve found. 🙂 http://versatilebloggeraward.wordpress.com/about/ This is the link I used, although it’s not very thorough. Basically, you tell 7 things about yourself that nobody knows, then nominate 15 other blogs that you think are really good–the hardest part, as everything I read I like. Then those 15 people do the same. So basically you have to be nominated to nominate someone. Thank the person that nominated you in your post. Most people don’t say why they like the blogs they pick, but I felt compelled, so I did. Then copy the Versatile Blogger Award Button, and post on your blog! Do this through Widget images (something I had to look up).
On another note, I saw your last response to me, but didn’t get to read it and now I can’t find it. 😦 Is it on your site, or mine?

        Reply
        • If you’re talking to me, it was on yours. If you’re talking to Chris, I’m not sure. 🙂

I just posted some info in response to your comment about whitewater rafting….can’t believe they sent you down a 4 for your first experience!

          Reply
          • I found it. It was on mine. As for the class four, he didn’t tell me or my stepmother, so we only realized when we were in it. He said, “It’s fine–you’ll love it!” Did not…

  28. Since you stopped by my blog I thought I would stop by yours to see what you are “about,” and come to find out, I found out more “about” you from the comments here than your “about” statement. What a crack-up. Can wait to read more from you.

hahaha, It’s awesome how many comments you can get on absolutely …nothing! hahaha! I guess if you’ve got nothing on your “About” page, then you can morph into whoever the hell you want to be and whatever the hell life you decide to have any moment- definitely room for a new view from here at all times! 😉
Actually, Chris just directed me here to check out your “about” page. It is as exciting as I was prepared for! 🙂 hehehe
I’ll have a look around your Blog as I’ve got some more time. 🙂
